Auto-parts Export (USD)


To encourage the well-established position of Thai auto-parts manufacturing industry as the Detroit of Asia, Thailand's auto-parts output in the first quarter of 2008 grew by 35.66 %, amounting to USD 2,794 millions compared with the previous year. As the government backs the expansion of the auto-parts production and the ever-increasing market, the mold and die industry in Thailand is expected for significant growth.

Future Prospects: Thailand is one of the major world producers of automobiles, electrical appliances, and electronics which are the main linkage industries of the mold and die industry. As these industries are expanding dramatically, the mold and die industry is on the positive trend. Powerful industrialized country such Japan has increased its investment in this sector in Thailand which indicates the high opportunity for growth in the future.

จากการสนับสนุนการขยายตัวจากภาครัฐ และตลาดที่เติบโตขึ้น คาดการณ์ว่าอุตสาหกรรมแม่พิมพ์และการขึ้นรูปจะเติบโตขึ้นอีกมาก

แนวโน้ม : ประเทศไทยเป็นหนึ่งในกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมผู้ผลิตรถยนต์ ชิ้นส่วนไฟฟ้าและอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ระดับโลก ซึ่งเป็นอุตสาหกรรม
ควบคู่หลักกับอุตสาหกรรมแม่พิมพ์และการขึ้นรูป จากการขยายตัวของภาคการผลิตดังกล่าว แนวโน้มภาคการผลิตแม่พิมพ์จึงเป็นไป
ในทิศทางบวก ซึ่งประเทศอุตสาหกรรมอย่างญี่ปุ่นได้เพิ่มแรงการลงทุนด้านนี้ในประเทศไทย ชี้ให้เห็นถึงโอกาศการเติบโตสูงในอนาคต
